It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these things, so…
Rhythm Heaven Groove – Don’t get me wrong, nearly everything about Rhythm Heaven is perfect and wonderful, but it’s focus on PERFECT timing is too much for me. This one looks like it’s got an adventure mode of some sort though, so I may still give it a chance.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword – I’ve never played an Onimusha game, and while it looks really cool, it also looks like it’s got heavily parry/counter-based gameplay, which never works well for me. Again, I don’t have great reflexes, so this physically doesn’t work for me.
Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen – I have this on PS5 and haven’t even had time to boot it up once yet.
Stellar Blade – See above.
Orbitals – Looks visually incredible, but I don’t do multiplayer.
Rayman Legends Retold – You know, I played the original on Wii U a bunch, and it’s a really fun game. Just a really good, solid 2D platformer. Not one I feel a need to purchase a remaster of, though.
Big Walk – Online co-op? Nope. But it does seem like I’d really dig the cozy hiking gameplay.
One Piece: Grand Gourmet – Diner Dash but licensed?
Pokémon Pokopia update + expansion pass – A free update? Guess I’ll just keep playing this forever. And you know damn well that I’m going to be getting that expansion pass to just further extend the life of the game.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave – I don’t know how many times I have to learn this lesson, but I almost never stick with SRPGs that aren’t named Final Fantasy Tactics. As much as I want to care, Fire Emblem just doesn’t appeal to me for some reason.
Ninjala 2: The Uncharted Planet – Cartoony open-world action adventure? Using bubblegum as a grappling hook? Now you’re talking my language!
DK Challenge – Kind of a weird meta-app that unlocks stuff as you play Donkey Kong games. Think achievements, but tied to a series of games. This is a very Nintendo kind of thing to do. Not sure how much I’ll engage with it, but it’s certainly something. Also there’s a Mario crossover event in DK Bananza. Neat.
Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton – It’s literally Vampire Survivors but licensed. Because it’s made by the Vampire Survivors dev. No question that I’d be obsessed with it for a few weeks, but I’ve got enough of these already.
Lords of the Fallen II – If I recall correctly, this is a somewhat janky souls-like, which doesn’t sound great to me. But maybe that was just the first one? Was the sequel better? Should I care?
Lies of P: Complete Edition – Another souls-like! And one that I’ve wanted to play since it was released everywhere else, but I know exactly how it’s going to go. The same way these always go… nothing but endless frustration.
Devil May Cry V – I’ve never played more than the DMC4 demo, and I don’t think that’s going to change any time soon.
Muramasa: Revenant Blades – I remember this game! I think? The original version (or first game?) was on Wii, but I never played it. Maybe I will this time around? But first, I need to find out if this is a remake or a sequel. It’s terribly unclear to me.
Xenoblade Chronicles trilogy Switch 2 upgrades – Oh good, I was just saying how I could use a way to kill like 500 hours. I guess I’m playing the Xenoblade trilogy ag…

Runescape: Dragonwilds – Did you miss the last few headlines? I don’t have time for this!
Hello Kitty Party Land – Nah, brah.
StarFox – I’ve had this pre-ordered for a month already. You think I’m going to miss a StarFox game? I’ll die first.
Final Fantasy Resonance – I’m going to buy this just for the HD-2D style. Plus, it just looks like a classic FF game, which I’m all about.
Pikuniku 2 – Looks silly and fun and maybe kinda dark? Maybe if I ever have downtime again, I’ll check it out.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World – I *just* bought the last DQM game, and haven’t played it yet, so I doubt I’ll be getting this one. But I very much like that the main characters are Bianca and Nera from DQV. That’s a strong selling point all on its own.
The Duskbloods – A multiplayer-focused From Software game. I’m very much looking forward to watching someone else play it. Maybe not this network test demo thing, but the full game, eventually.
Splatoon Raiders – Finally, Nintendo is making a single-player Splatoon game. I deeply enjoy everything about Splatoon, but I’m so SO bad at it, so I’m very eager to play this and not have to worry about dragging down my teammates!
DELTARUNE Chapter 5 – Yahoo! It’s almost time for the festival! And given the way chapter 4 ended… I have no idea what’s going to happen next.
Metaphor: ReFantazio – I’ve heard nothing but positive buzz about this, and even watched the first hour or so of gameplay, and it looks incredible! But man… another 100+ hour RPG? I just can’t!
Minecraft – Switch 2 version coming I guess.
Sizzle Reel – There’s some neat stuff in here (like MGS Master Collection 2 and a Tales of Eternia port), but most importantly: a Fitness Boxing 3 Switch 2 upgrade! It looks like there’s some new content, so I’m pumped!
Kingdom Hearts collections – I’ve already got the whole collection on PS4 though.
Kingdom Hearts IV – Did I see Noctis there for a second? Is Final Fantasy coming back to Kingdom Hearts? Nah, musta just been a trick of the light. Looks pretty cool, though. But the real question is – will I ever get around to playing KHIII?
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – 2026 release date but no gameplay footage? ARE YOU JOKING!?
