Uh, so this happened over a week ago. I watched it on my work laptop, to take advantage of the second screen, but I also can’t access WordPress from said laptop. So I wrote down all these notes while watching and only now have gotten around to publishing them.
Pikmin 4 – I like the music. New onion design? Ice pikmin… cool. Ooh! A pupper pal! Dungeons are back? Overall, it looks like another Pikmin, which is good since we haven’t had one in 10 years.
Xenoblade 3 DLC – Still just waiting on an announcement of a physical release like they did for Xenoblade 2’s DLC.
Samba De Amigo: Party Central – Don’t care.
Fashion Dreamer – Nope, not for me.
Dead Cells: Castlevania Expansion – I’m not interested in Dead Cells at all, but I may have to look into this…
TRON: Identity – Nah, brah.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective – I heard so many good thing about the original release, may check out this re-release.
Deca Police – In a world where there won’t so many games, I might give this one some strong consideration. It looks like a pretty cool JRPG, but there’s just no time.
Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon – Hey! A Bayonetta game I could actually play? And it’s got a nice picture-book aesthetic. I’m interested, but not likely to actually play this.
Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass – I still haven’t bought Splatoon 3, so… But it looks like it has a cool new single-player campaign. I look forward to longing for this from time to time!
Disney Illusion Island – Visually beautiful! And it appears to be a multiplayer metroidvania, so I may actually check this one out!
Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass – Haven’t bought this game. Not going to. Not too worried about it.
Harmony: The Fall of Reverie – I really like the art, and teh music promises to be great. And it’s a Don’tnod game, so
Octopath Traveler II – Guaranteed purchase. I’ve been playing the original again lately and am SO into it. It’s just a matter of actually finishing that first game…
We Love Katamari Reroll – Hell yeah! The best Katamari game, finally re-released! And it sounds like there may be new content added?
Sea of Stars – Like the look, but there’s a character name Keenathan, and I just can’t forgive that.
Omega Strikers – Online hero-based air hockey? Really? Ech.
Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection – I’ve only played one of these three games (the second one), and would really like to check out the other two, but knowing how difficult and time-consuming they are, there no way. Wait, there’s a difficutly setting now? Hmmm….
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp – I’m not gonna lie, I’d like nothing more than to sink a bunch of time into these. Advance Wars was always good fun. But I just don’t think I’m going to be able to make the time.
Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe – I was going to ignore this, but now they’re telling me there’s a whole new campaign mode added? WELP. And also new mini-games I guess, but whatever.
Game Boy Online – FINALLY! The roster is lookin’ SOLID, too! I’ve been wanting to revisit Super Mario Land 2 lately, and this is a great excuse! The fact that Nintendo actually included Game Boy Color support is genuinely shocking.
Game Boy Advance Online – Okay, Nintendo, thank you. Thank you very much. This is the bestest of surprises!
Metroid Prime Remastered – LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! And releases TODAY!?!?
Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE – Much as I want to play this, did you miss those last few items? I got no time!
Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster – I have both of these for GameCube, but I barely played the first one. I think I’d just go back to those discs, rather than buy them again. Fun fact: I own the soundtracks and have listened to them a lot!
Fantasy Life i: The Girl who Steals Time – The original on 3DS always seemed so neat, but I never played it. It honestly seems like a nightmare for completionists like myself.
Professor Layton and the New World of Steam – Nothing but a title? I thought Professor Layton was retired?
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC – Still don’t own this, but it’s nice to know that I’d get the DLC for free with NSO if I ever did buy the game.
Sizzle Reel – Not too interested in anything featured here besides the Mega Man Battle Network Collection. Blanc looks cute, though.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – This is what I came here for. Looks incredible (obvi), but I’m not sure about Ganondorf’s(?) voice. Can you… can you build vehicles in this game? Because that’s kinda mind-blowing. More than ever, this is my most anticipated game of 2023.
