It\u2019s that time of year again, E3 time. The time when all the big video game companies (and small video game companies too) come out to show off their upcoming wares. The most hyped week of commercials in all the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Like I always do, I\u2019m going to write up a list of my thoughts on all the stuff that Nintendo showed off in their big presentation. \u201cWhy just Nintendo?\u201d you ask. Because that\u2019s where my heart is. Other companies show off neat stuff from time to time, but when it comes down to it, I always get the most excited about the new Nintendo games. And I find that this gets more true with each passing year, as video games in general become less and less exciting to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To be 100% honest, the most exciting non-tendo announcment for me so far has been the FF8 remaster. Because of course it is. So let\u2019s get on to the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Smash DLC <\/strong>– YES DQ HEROES<\/p>\n\n\n\n DQXIS<\/strong> – I have it on PS4, no need for a re-buy. Even if there is more content. The last thing DQXI needs in more <\/em>content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bowser Mix-up<\/strong> – That was a fun skit<\/p>\n\n\n\n Luigi Mansion 3<\/strong> – Down To Play\u2026 You can never leave\u2026? is it the Hotel California? I like the Gooigi angle. King Boo is in the trailer\u2026 So is he not the main villain? No release date is weird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dark Crystal Tactics<\/strong> – I like the look of this strategy RPG, but man I strongly dislike The Dark Crystal<\/p>\n\n\n\n Link\u2019s Awakening<\/strong> – Just hook it to my veins! Releasing in September!?!? Whaaaaaat I had it budgeted for December! And it now has some sort of custom dungeon builder? Weird, but it could be cool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Trials of Mana<\/strong> – HOLY FARTS all I wanted was an official translation of Seiken 3 and SquareEnix gives me THIS instead? What have I done to deserve something so beautiful??? I\u2019m not worthy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Collection of Mana<\/strong> – Oh hey it\u2019s that official translation of Seiken 3 that I wanted. Plus two other games. Neat! Wait what… AVAILABLE TODAY!?!?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Witcher 3<\/strong> – I want to care, but I don\u2019t have the time (see the last three bullets)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fire Emblem Three Houses<\/strong> – I don\u2019t even want to care about this one. Sorry, Fire Emblem. You’re not for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Resident Evil 5 & 6<\/strong> – Neat. I might buy 5 again, when it goes on sale. I really like RE5. Six, less so. I don\u2019t know why there was a bit about making some actors play RE1 in a spooky house, though. Why should we be more excited to play RE on the go than anything else?<\/p>\n\n\n\n No More Heroes 3<\/strong> – YESSSS\u00a0 (less so to the 2020 release date, but I can wait)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Contra Rogue Corps<\/strong> – I\u2019m happy that there\u2019s a new Contra game\u2026 But it\u2019s not for me. Because it looks bad. Really bad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Contra Anniversary Collection<\/strong> – Meh. But I would rather have this than Rogue Corps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Daemon x Machina<\/strong> – Yep, still hype for this. Even after the demo failed to impress most other people. But how can this also come out in September?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Panzer Dragoon<\/strong> – You\u2019re not Star Fox. Looks lame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pokemon Sword and Shield<\/strong> – Pokeball Plus functionality\u2026 I don\u2019t care. Nessa is cute tho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Astral Chain<\/strong> – Extradimensional attack.. That\u2019s enough for me, I’m sold. It looks so sweet. I absolutely can\u2019t wait for this one. So it\u2019s good that it comes out in August!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Empire of Sin<\/strong> – Nothing about this is appealing to me<\/p>\n\n\n\n Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3<\/strong> – I\u2019d like to play this, but I think the rest of my 2019 video game budget has been allocated already. And it seems like it would lose a lot to play it all by my lonesome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cadence of Hyrule<\/strong> – It looks cool, but I\u2019m going to wait on reviews for this one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mario and Sonic Olympic Something<\/strong> – Feh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Animal Crossing<\/strong> – I was done with Animal Crossing after New Leaf. This isn\u2019t looking like it\u2019s going to change my mind. So I really don\u2019t mind the delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sizzle Reel<\/strong> – I think the only thing in there that I\u2019m legit interested in is Doom Eternal. And I am VERY interested in Doom Eternal. Maybe the Crystal Chronicles remake. Stranger Things 3 still looks lame \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n\n\n\n MORE Smash DLC<\/strong> – Banjo and Kazooie!
