It\u2019s an amazing time-saver! At least, unless the game in question is a Mega Man X game&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">~ Game Over ~<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><b>Mega Man X4<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Switch) &#8211; While I do think it holds up fairly well on a high level, it really makes me long for the gorgeous pixel graphics of the SNES games. What can I say? I\u2019m old.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Super Dungeon Bros<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (PS4) &#8211; At first I thought \u201cThis is kinda like Gauntlet! Sweet!\u201d But it\u2019s not the kind of game that\u2019s properly balanced for single-player, so I gave up and deleted it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mega Man X Legacy Collection<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Switch) &#8211; X Challenge is <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">indeed<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a challenge, as I needed to keep the difficulty firmly on Easy to make my way to the end. (Spoiler: It\u2019s crazy broken.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mega Man X4<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Switch) &#8211; The previous one was an X playthrough, this one was a Zero run.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mega Man X3<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Switch) &#8211; Another run to gather up some stray \u201chunter medals\u201d (achievements). Also this time I got the gold armor and Z-Saber, so Kaiser Sigma wasn\u2019t impossibly hard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mega Man X5<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Switch) &#8211; Despite having pretty good memories of if, I kind of can\u2019t stand Mega Man X5. Imagine that!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Batman: The Telltale Series <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(PS4) &#8211; While I really liked it, I couldn\u2019t help but feel like I would have enjoyed it more as a straight-up animated mini-series instead of a \u201cgame.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mega Man X5<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Switch) &#8211; I played it again to go through Zero\u2019s story. Why? Masochism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mega Man X6<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Switch) &#8211; This is generally considered to be an absolute trash fire of a game, but after this playthrough, I\u2019ve come think it\u2019s actually quite a bit better than tedious ol\u2019 X5.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Legend of Kay Anniversary <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(PS4) &#8211; I got this in a bundle last year, and it seemed like it would be a nice, breezy adventure. It is those things! But it is also <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hella boring<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, so I deleted it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mega Man X5<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Switch) &#8211; I needed to see all three endings to earn a hunter medal\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">~ Now Playing ~<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><b>MGSV: The Phantom Pain<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (PC) &#8211; Began investigating the FOB missions, and discovered that they can supply vast amounts of resources. HOORAY! (I really love this game!)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Octopath Traveler<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Switch) &#8211; As much as I like this game, I have been unjustly ignoring it in favour of all the Mega Mans. Anyone surprised? Show of hands? No? Didn\u2019t think so.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Switch) &#8211; I\u2019m so sorry, Octopath.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Messenger <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Switch) &#8211; It looks a lot like Shovel Knight but with ninjas, and it\u2019s very nearly as good as Shovel Knight. This is like, exactly what I\u2019ve been looking for in a video game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Switch) &#8211; I was very much looking forward to X Challenge Vol. 2, but it turned out to be mostly the same fights as in Volume 1. Lazy, Capcom. Real lazy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mega Man X7<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Switch) &#8211; Never played this before, though I knew about its absolutely horrid reputation. It\u2019s not <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">quite<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as bad as all that, but it is still astonishingly bad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Picross S2<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Switch) &#8211; It\u2019s a new Picross game. Of course I\u2019m playing it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Piczle Lines DX<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Switch) &#8211; Back at this. Made it to puzzles so big that they can take almost an hour to complete. And they\u2019re not even the biggest ones\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Super Smash Bros for Wii U <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(WiiU) &#8211; Been playing a few matches here and there because I am way too excited for Smash Ultimate and this is my best outlet.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You know, I think I\u2019m really starting to get the hang of this \u201cjust stop playing games that you aren\u2019t having fun with\u201d thing.
