Despite going back to school. I think that should be a wake-up call that my study habits are not <em>quite<\/em> where they should be.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">~ Game Over ~<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Yoshi&#8217;s Island<\/strong> (SNES) &#8211; Man, that final battle is cool. Aiming&#8217;s a little finicky, but still really cool.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shantae: 1\/2 Genie Hero: Pirate Queen&#8217;s Quest<\/strong> (WiiU) &#8211; I am bowled away at how much I enjoyed this remixed DLC mode. It&#8217;s <em>almost<\/em> as good as Shantae and the Pirate&#8217;s Curse!<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Count Lucanor<\/strong> (Switch) &#8211; The great thing about my Switch is that my backlog of unplayed games was sitting at <em>just one<\/em>, and now I&#8217;ve played and finished it.<a href=\"http:\/\/torrentialequilibrium.net\/?p=7538\"> And wrote about it at length<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Into the Breach<\/strong> (PC) &#8211; Failed right\u00a0at the end, so I knocked it down to easy mode for the next run and completely steamrolled the game because easy mode removes\u00a0nearly\u00a0<em>all<\/em>\u00a0of the challenge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Part-Time UFO<\/strong> (iOS) &#8211; I guess I shouldn&#8217;t have been, but I was caught off guard when this cute physics game about stacking objects trotted out a giant boss fight and a crazy-hard final level.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">~ Now Playing ~<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Pok\u00e9mon Uranium<\/strong> (PC) &#8211; Have I mentioned that this game runs poorly? Because it runs really poorly. Yet, it&#8217;s still a very unique Pok\u00e9mon game, so I am honour-bound to keep playing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pok\u00e9mon GO<\/strong>\u00a0(iOS) &#8211; Now that they&#8217;ve added missions, I&#8217;ve been playing a lot again. Like, every day. It&#8217;s so much more fun now that there&#8217;s more to do than just catch &#8217;em all.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Sun<\/strong> (3DS) &#8211; Booted it up\u00a0a couple times because&#8230; I&#8217;m not sure why. I think I just needed to play a <em>for real<\/em> Pok\u00e9mon game. And I still need to finish it&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zelda: Breath of the Wild<\/strong> (Switch) &#8211; Still goin&#8217; at &#8216;er. It feels like a totally different game when you opt not to use fast travel or activate the map towers. Master Mode helps, too.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Horizon: Zero Dawn<\/strong> (PS4) &#8211; I was about to take down my first Stormbird, then some rando NPC waddled by and stole my kill, and I got NO EXPERIENCE POINTS FOR IT. MRGRGRGR.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Slayaway Camp: Butcher&#8217;s Cut<\/strong> (Switch) &#8211; A slidey-puzzle game that I <a href=\"http:\/\/torrentialequilibrium.net\/?p=6906\">would have ignored completely<\/a> if not for the theme: 70&#8217;s\/80&#8217;s slasher films. They knew <em>exactly<\/em> how to hook me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ninja Striker!<\/strong> (Switch) &#8211; I mistook this for a port of the 3DS game <a href=\"http:\/\/torrentialequilibrium.net\/?p=6020\">Ninja Smasher!<\/a>, but it&#8217;s actually a spin-off that&#8217;s still\u00a0a lot of fun, but not nearly as metroidvania. Read eShop descriptions, kids!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Agatha Knife<\/strong> (Switch) &#8211; Point-and-click adventure about a seven-year-old girl who wants to create a new religion called carnivorism. Clearly written by people who <em>hate<\/em> religion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes<\/strong> (PC) &#8211; You know those games you buy because you&#8217;re really excited to play them, but then you never actually have\/make time to play them?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rollercoaster Tycoon<\/strong> (PC) &#8211; Randomly picked up one night to kill time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apparently I played all the video games in April.
