PaRappa the Rapper Remastered<\/strong> (PS4) – Yeah, I bashed my head<\/a> against this wall long enough to get to the end, but I doubt I will ever truly understand how to play well.<\/p>\n Blaster Master Zero<\/strong> (Switch) – What a stellar game!<\/a> The original Blaster Master is much too hard for me, so this reboot was a very nice way to appreciate the game without all the headaches.<\/p>\n The Unfinished Swan<\/strong> (PS4) – A weird little first-person adventure game that is constantly playing with how you get around its world. Read more here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap<\/strong> (Switch) –\u00a0Beautiful remake of a\u00a0TG-16\u00a0platformer that I didn’t realize that I already own on Wii Virtual Console. Oh well! It’s definitely worth buying again!<\/p>\n Pic-A-Pix Color<\/strong> (WiiU) – Honestly, I’m as surprised as you are that I’m playing a Wii U game. But then again, it’s picross, so maybe not. Also it’s crossbuy with 3DS, so I’ll likely play it again soon!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Final Fantasy Explorers<\/strong> (3DS) – Not quite as Monster Hunter-like as I want, but it’s still a pretty fun monster\/loot\/gear cycle. In particular, I enjoy beefing up spells to make them utterly broken.<\/p>\n Has-Been Heroes<\/strong> (Switch) – Easily as frustrating as PaRappa, but the randomness of it allows for occasional runs when you can win battles\u00a0and feel unstoppable. At least until a boss appears.<\/p>\n Typeshift<\/strong> (iOS) – A simple spelling game that is much more enthralling than any other mobile game before it. Still, probably won’t spend money on the expansion puzzles.<\/p>\n King of Fighters ’98<\/strong> (Switch) – I felt that I needed a fighting game to tide me over until Pocket Rumble. Though holy crap I forgot how brutal arcade fighters are.\u00a0Ryan needs practice badly.<\/p>\n Zelda: Breath of the Wild<\/strong> (Switch) – This is how I spend my weekends now. Sometimes unintentionally! But that’s okay, because it’s so good<\/em>.<\/p>\n Snake Pass<\/strong> (Switch) –\u00a0Its beautiful graphics and music are just a cover for the very difficult gameplay of trying to play a platformer as a snake the moves (generally) like a snake.<\/p>\n Trailer Park Boys: Greasy Money<\/strong> (iOS) – Just what I need in my life: another clicker\/idle game.<\/p>\n Stardew Valley<\/strong> (PC) – I can’t help but wonder how anyone would ever finish all the Community Centre bundles without a wiki\/guide.
