Often, when I reference a previous work of mine, I will go back and read it over again. When I wrote up that last post, it spurred me to go back and actually read the good ol’ Work Blog (and not only because I had to dig up the link from Angelfire).<\/p>\n

I mentioned in the last post that I’d be okay with someone flirting with me anonymously in the present day, but after reading the Work Blog over, I realize that what happened there was not flirting at all. No, I’d completely forgotten that it was a flat-out proposition for sex. You know, as long as I was going to bother doing the detective work.<\/p>\n

As you may have guessed,\u00a0I did not do the detective work. To this day I haven’t got a\u00a0clue who that could have been. Even in retrospect, I can’t see any hints that I may have missed while younger and dumber.\u00a0It’s just as well. I think that I found\u00a0maybe two of the girls I worked with at Tim’s\u00a0attractive. And one of them didn’t start working there until long after\u00a0I’d given up on the Work Blog. Also I did ask her out and she slapped me right on the face..<\/p>\n

I’m a little shocked that 2004 me didn’t seem to be overly interested in said propositioning. I mean, not that<\/em> shocked, because I was just a scared little kid. But he just sort of\u00a0ignored it and focused on the blog and trying to increase TE’s readership. I am a little disappointed in hindsight that 2004 Ryan didn’t even give it the old college try.<\/p>\n

Heh. I guess that explains it. Scared little kid indeed. Kinda funny that I’ve come around full circle and I’m back in that sort of mindset where, you know, I’d sort of like to be in a relationship, but\u00a0when I actually think about it I start to\u00a0feel terrified and overwhelmed. Current me would have at least flirted back a bit though.<\/p>\n

Wahtever. I bet it was a dude anyway. Trying to fool and humiliate me.<\/p>\n

And if not? Well, “Snakebite”, “Leather strap”, if either of you have followed me this far, sorry I was such a bonehead before. For what it’s worth, you would have only been even more disappointed if you’d actually gotten me in bed. My penis is very small.<\/p>\n
