It’s beautiful, it has a soundtrack to die for, and it’s just a really great Yoshi game. Easily rivals the original in terms of quality. Please note that even though it’s the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen, it can be downright brutal. Especially the bonus stages. *shudder* I look forward to continuing to play it to see all the extra goodies it has to offer.

Undertale (PC) – I finally picked it up again and made it past the tutorial. OH. Now I understand why people love this game so much. It is absolutely brimming with charm, and really that’s all you need to get my seal of approval. I also like the “battle” system, despite there being hardly any actual battling in my pacifist run.

Chibi-Robo! Zip-Lash (3DS) – While a few things really bugged me about this game, most of its faults were minor and ignorable. The final boss was really awesome. Ultimately, I had a good time, but I’d really just like to get a normal Chibi-Robo game next. Or even a cheap re-release of the GameCube original.

Shadow of the Colossus HD (PS3) – Cleared on hard mode. Never fails to leave me in awe every time I play it. And good gravy, is that 3D ever stunning. I may tackle the time trials in December.

Metal Arms: Glitch in the System (XBOX) – A thoroughly satisfying adventure that does not feel like it’s 12 years old. Really, you could polish up the graphics and easily pass it as a B-tier current-gen game. The penultimate stage was a nightmare, but that was the only severe mark against it.

Picross e6 (3DS) – Finally mustered up the drive to put this one to bed. What with Pokémon Picross right around the corner and all. I sort of got a wish that I made some time ago, but in retrospect, I think that Mega puzzles are best in small doses.

~ Now Playing ~

Bravely Default (3DS) – I have advanced to Chapter 6, almost on 7.

Super Mario Maker (WiiU) – Uh, I made some more courses. What did you expect? I probably don’t really need to list this every month, do I?

Fallout: New Vegas (PC) – I don’t have a current-gen machine of any description, so I can’t play Fallout 4. At least I’ve got New Vegas. This month, I broke a lot of new ground and started exploring the eastern side of the map. Still haven’t set foot in New Vegas proper.

Human Resource Machine (WiiU) – A simple programming game with a fun graphical representation of the execution of your code. A lot of fun early on, but gets ball-bustingly difficult about halfway through. I feel like I’m stuck without hope on Year 21.

Nintendo Badge Arcade (3DS) – A crane game where you can win little badges to decorate your 3DS home screen with. But it costs real actual dollars to play. So I did the free tutorial stuff and that was basically it.

Stone Shire (WiiU) – This Minecraft-“inspired” game was not the best way to spend a dollar.

I don’t know.
