I’m going to stop listing the games that I play every month without fail. Because you can pretty much assume that in any given month, I’ve spent a good chunk of my time playing the following:

Monster Hunter 4, Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS, and Pokémon Shuffle.

I love them all dearly, but there’s no point to reiterating that I’m playing them every month unless there’s some sort of reason to mention it.

Oh, I guess I don’t really love Pokémon Shuffle. That’s more of an addiction than anything.

~ Game Over ~

Shipwreck (PC) – A cute little top-down adventure that’s very reminiscent of Link’s Awakening. It’s not as deep, and it doesn’t have as much heart, but it’s still pretty good. Oh hey I even wrote a thing about it.

Psyscrolr (WiiU) – I decided to give it another shot. After the horrifying ordeal that was stage 3, I was ready to give up on it forever. Imagine my surprise when I learned that the game was over! For now… That was apparently only “Chapter 1” but I doubt if I’ll go back for more. As this game is trash.

A Dark Room (PC) – Starts as a pretty basic idle game. Then it aggravates you by occasionally setting you back (taking supplies, destroying buildings, etc). Then it grows an RPG mode. Then it becomes a vertical bullet hell thing. If you can bother to work through the annoyances, it’s actually really cool.

Mega Man 3 (NES) – I wanted to play a Mega Man but didn’t want to deal with the Boobeam Trap and I felt like something different from Mega Man 4. 5 is boring. I’ll probably play 6 next.

Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas (PC) – The best indie imitation of a Zelda game that I’ve seen. The Phantom Hourglass to Shipwreck’s Link’s Awakening. Only it’s really solid and considerably better than Phantom Hourglass. It does not have stylus controls, you see.

~ Now Playing ~

Clicker Heroes (PC) – Yeah I’m still at it. Usually I end up losing most of my Sunday to it.

Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure (3DS) – It seems to be a little-known secret that I love Dr. Mario. As a wee one, it was my falling-blocks game of choice (though supplanted by Puzzle League in my teen years), and to this day I still enjoy a marathon session. This version has so many options, but the only ones that matter are Classic and Online Battle.

Puzzle & Dragons: Mario (3DS) – It was fun at first, but it quickly becomes insanely difficult. Seriously, you’ll be hitting brick walls in World 3. World 3.

Puzzle & Dragons Z (3DS) – Much more user-friendly, at the cost of it being not quite as nice to look at. On the plus side, it still looks better than the mobile version. Looks aside, I am so hooked on this game. It’s like virtual heroin.

OlliOlli (3DS) – Bought when it went down to 50% (also because it’s a rare 3DS/WiiU crossbuy), and have barely touched it. Played enough to ace the first stage on normal. It’s fun, but there are more pressing things to attend to.

Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure (PSP) – I bought this because it was on sale and because I’d heard some very faint praise for it from an online acquaintance. Pretty plain 3D platformer/action game, only this one stars a little girl who wields a drill as a weapon and is friends with invisible monsters. Charming, but not overly compelling.

Don’t Starve: Giant Edition (WiiU) – Seriously I don’t even know how to be good at this game. It’s hard enough to keep up a good stock of food, but then monsters suddenly come out of nowhere and bang your dead. I mean, I’m having fun, but it’d be nice to have a ghost of a chance.

Wasteland 2 (PC) – A vast, complicated, post-apocalyptic WRPG. It’s pretty darn fun, even though your guys and/or gals can’t hit the broad side of a barn until their weapon skills are pretty far along. With a machete even! Seriously. The hit % in this game is unbelievably low.

Wolfenstein 3D (PC) – It was a dollar, man. A dollar! Made it to level 3 but apparently my saves like to break? So… I don’t know how long this will last.

Fallout: New Vegas (PC) – I’ve got a bad feeling about this. Well, it’s not like I’ve got a life to fritter away anyhow.

This is getting a little bit out of hand here.
