~ Game Over ~<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind<\/strong> (Switch) – I’d been listening to the (excellent) soundtrack lately, and it reminded me how much I enjoyed the game. So I gave it another run. Apparently it’s been significantly polished up since launch, but I didn’t notice much difference aside from the (seemingly pointless) new level-up system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resident Evil 3<\/strong> (PS5) – Sometimes you’ve gotta set it to Assisted mode and just have a good time. Got myself an S rank, even. With a measly two minutes<\/em> to spare!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Last Train: Baquedano<\/strong> (Switch) – A surreal cat-and-mouse horror game where you’re trying to escape a train station while a killer stalks you. It’s strange and a little difficult at first because it doesn’t give you any direction, but once you figure out your goal, it’s actually pretty thrilling. Also, might just be a meme game – I’m not sure, I’m too old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Fray Fight<\/strong> (PC) – A Vampire Survivors-like game with a Norse mythology theme, I have no idea how it ended up in my Steam library. But I played it for about two hours, saw basically everything is has to offer, and then called it done forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frontier Hunter: Erza’s Wheel of Fortune<\/strong> (PC) – Bought this metroidvania because the trailer made me think of a more light-hearted Bloodstained<\/strong>. That’s a roughly accurate way to put it, though Frontier Hunter is somewhat less polished, but offers a surprisingly deep character customization system. It’s also kinda boringly easy for the first third, but then ramps up to pretty good. Good enough to spend a little extra time earning all the achievements, even.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe<\/strong> (Switch) – Played through the base game, not sure of what is new or not because it’s been so long since I played the original release. Immediately got started on Extra mode, and have poked around in Merry Magoland just a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After much deliberation, I am changing this section back from “Progress Notes” to “Now Playing” because sometimes I play games not to make progress, but just for fun. Not that anyone was really paying attention or cared about such a change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kirby Air Riders<\/strong> (Switch2) – Funnin’ around in all modes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BALL x PIT<\/strong> (Switch2) – Played a handful of NG+ rounds is all<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peglin<\/strong> (PC) – Still working on Spinventor’s Cruciball<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bomberman<\/strong> (NES) – Level 30ish<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Absolum<\/strong> (Switch) – A couple quick runs, got the 2nd boss<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pok\u00e9mon Fire Red<\/strong> (Switch2) – Beat Brock<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rock Band 2<\/strong> (360) – Played a couple hours just because<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fitness Boxing 3<\/strong> (Switch) – Hit Gold II rank this month<\/p>\n\n\n\n
