Plenty of unlockables to provide reasons to play it over and over again, too. Which I will likely do.

BloodBark (PC) – An indie horror about chipping down trees that bleed and make you hallucinate. It sounds weird, and it is weird, but I had a great time with it. I look forward to sharing my let’s play when Spooktober comes around.

Valkyrie Elysium (PS5) – Imagine Final Fantasy XVI, but with a much smaller world, significantly less epic boss fights, and comparatively non-existent story. So, like, a pretty solid combat system and nice graphics. It was fun enough to get to the end, but I’m not going back for any of the extra content.

Don’t Feed It (PC) – If you guessed that this is yet another indie horror… you’re correct. This one’s about finding large wads of meat in your home and then shoving them in an increasingly sinister hole. It’s got decent atmosphere, but the two endings I got (out of five total) were less than satisfying.

Night at the Office (PC) – The latest release from TurnVex games, purveyor of many samey indie horrors. This one is a little too generic to be excited about, but the secret ending was funny and definitely worth the small amount of effort it takes to unlock.

Donkey Kong ’94 (GB) – Revisited this one to churn out a quick let’s play series.
